Faith in the Fog

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

A Devotional for Trusting Through Transitions
Because Faith doesn't always come with a map
There are seasons where life feels like a fogged-up windshield—blurry, disorienting, and oddly quiet. You may not be able to see the road ahead, only the next tiny step… if that.

Transitions can look like endings, but they’re often disguised beginnings. A child leaving home, a job shift, a health scare, an emptying season that leaves you asking, “What now?” These moments may feel like you’ve lost the map, the momentum, or maybe even yourself.

But Sister, here’s the truth:
God doesn’t need the fog to clear in order to lead you.
He leads through the fog.

You don’t need the full itinerary to move forward. You only need the next yes. The next breath. The next whispered prayer.

Sometimes faith isn’t leaping.
Sometimes faith is lingering long enough to hear His voice in the in-between.
And sometimes, it’s simply choosing to trust that even when it’s unclear, you’re still being carried.

A Gentle Reminder:

You’re not behind. You’re not off course.
You’re being guided by grace, not GPS.

Let this moment—this transition, this pause—become your altar. A place where you lean in and remember: The same God who brought you this far won’t abandon you here.

Reflection Prompt:

Where in your life does the road feel foggy?
Write a simple prayer asking for clarity, peace, or just enough light for today’s step.
